Cynthia Phibel is currently based in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe. She is a visual artist and cultural project manager. The work that she is developing takes on a very unique meaning in the cosmopolitan ideal carried across the world and these times jostled by the remains of colonization. Between oblivion and memory, between after-effects and renewal, identities are questioned.
